Brief CV:  Elizabeth Carvalho is an Electrotechnical Engineer and a Postgraduate in Systems Analysis from Veiga de Almeida University (1985 and 1989). She has a Master’s in Computer Science and a PhD in Technology and Information Systems from the University of Minho (1994 and 2008). She has taught at the universities of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Minho, Atlântica and Aberta.

Interesses de investigação: She has devoted her scientific research – published in Portugal and abroad – to the area of computer graphics, with emphasis in the area of Information Visualisation. She is currently a member of the Centre for Research in Arts and Communication (University of Algarve).
