Inês Guerra Santos
She has a degree in International Relations from the University of Minho (1994), a Master’s degree in Economic and Social Studies from the same University (1997) and a PhD from the University of Salamanca (2009). She teaches at the University of Maia as an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Information Technologies at the University of Maia.
She was co-founder and director (for ten years) of the Projects and International Relations Office at the University of Maia. She has participated on several occasions as a teacher/trainer in activities at the University of Salamanca. She is also a member of UMAIA’s Scientific Council.
She is a member of various national and international research projects, in collaboration with various research centers and public and private entities. She is an integrated researcher at CIAC. She has published widely and organized several international scientific meetings, including congresses, round tables and scientific exhibitions (of an international nature).
It is also important to highlight her role as a member of several internal projects developed either as principal investigator or as a member of the research team, both in terms of smart cities and celebrity culture: construction and consumption of the image of public figures. She was also a researcher on the CyPet Exploratory Project funded by the FCT.
His most recent publications include chapters in international books published by prestigious publishers and articles in indexed scientific journals.
