António Guerreiro gives a Communication Sciences Seminar on “communicative behaviour or communicated information”?

The next Communication Sciences Seminar, with the theme “Communicative behaviour or communicated information? What’s mathematical about information theory?”, will be given by Prof. António Guerreiro. The session will take place on November 7th in Amphitheatre 0.5 of the Pedagogical Complex of the University of the Algarve’s Penha Campus, at 2:30 pm.

António Manuel da Conceição Guerreiro holds a PhD in Educational Sciences — Maths Didactics from the University of Lisbon. He is a coordinating professor at the University of Algarve’s School of Education and Communication and director of the Department of Teacher Training. He has published articles in specialised national and international journals. Furthermore, he has supervised master’s and doctoral dissertations.

This seminar is organised as part of the Theories of Communication course in the 1st year of the degree in Communication Sciences.

The Communication Sciences Seminar Cycle is an initiative that has been developed in recent years in conjunction with professionals and the community. The sessions are organised by researchers from CIAC’s Research Group on Communication Sciences, who teach on the undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and the master’s degree in Communication and Digital Media at ESEC-UAlg.
