Call for Papers: next issue of Lit&Tour focuses on Literary Routes for Education and Tourism

The Lit&Tour: International Journal of Literature and Tourism Studies, aimed at promoting the intersection of tourism and literature, is currently accepting submissions for its upcoming issue, centered on the theme “Literary Routes for Education and Tourism: New Formulas, New Trends, New Products”.

This call invites the submission of articles that address various aspects of literary routes, both as educational resources and tourist products. Topics include, but are not limited to, exploring literary routes and itineraries as educational and/or tourist resources, the evolution of these pathways in response to new audiences and generations, the creation of thematic literary routes beyond authors, the incorporation of multidisciplinarity, and technology to enhance participant experiences.

Literary routes have been an effective tool for decades in both education and tourism, providing enriching experiences that connect geographical locations through narratives and literary texts. However, as new needs and expectations arise, the upcoming edition of Lit&Tour seeks to explore and promote innovation in this constantly evolving field.

With the call for submissions open until June 30, 2024, academics, tourism professionals, educators, and literature enthusiasts are invited to contribute their perspectives and experiences to enrich this dialogue on the future of literary routes and be part of Issue 4 of the Lit&Tour journal.
