CIAC researchers participate in the 9th EIMAD

The 9th EIMAD – International Meeting on Music, Arts and Design Research will be held on June 27th, 28th, and 29th at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. Four CIAC researchers will participate on the second day of the event.

Ana Perfeito will present the paper “A Live Cinema Performance: Playing a Linear Narrative through Soundscapes”, co-authored by Bruno Mendes da Silva. Jorge Augusto dos Santos will deliver the presentation “Gender Equality in Sports on Exhibition: Curating Digital Media-Art in the Project Parallel 3 – Cubed Activism”, co-authored by Mirian Tavares. “Contributions to a Theoretical-Practical Analysis of the Efficiency of Cine-Imagetic Typography in the Reading Experience” is the title of Nuno Martins’ presentation, co-authored by Bruno Mendes da Silva and Tiago Navarro Marques. Finally, Ricardo Mestre will present “Art and Education – Creating Self-Sound Portraits with Middle School Students”.

This year, EIMAD features Mirian Tavares on the Honorary Committee. The scientific conference is dedicated to research in the fields of design, music, and the arts, including transdisciplinary approaches. It will take place at the School of Applied Arts of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, Portugal.
