Faro’s CineClube hosts screening of Cinema Pessoano Policial

Researcher Marcelo Mello is organising the event “Cinema Pessoano Policial”, which is part of his post-doctoral research at CIAC.

The event will feature the presentation of two crime films inspired by Fernando Pessoa: “The Idol” (2021), directed by Pedro Varela (23 min), a short thriller based on a crime script written by Pessoa. “Boca do inferno” (2019), directed by Luís Porto (37 min), is a crime film about Pessoa’s encounter with the magician Aleister Crowley.

The screening will be mediated by Marcelo Mello and will take place at the Faro Cineclube, on November 30th, 2024, at 5:30 pm, in Rua Dr. Francisco Sousa Vaz, n.º 28 A, Faro.
