Francisco Teixeira is the next guest for the Visual Arts Cycle


The next Visual Arts Cycle will feature Francisco Teixeira and will be held on 13 May at 2pm in Auditorium 0.4 on the University of the Algarve’s Penha Campus.

Francisco Teixeira has a degree in History of Art from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, a Master’s in History of Medieval Art from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon and a PhD in History of Islamic and Medieval Art from the University of the Algarve. He is a retired lecturer at the FCHS of the University of the Algarve, where he taught Visual Arts, Cultural Heritage, Landscape Architecture and Language and Literature.

Author of papers in scientific journals, national and international congresses and conferences on medieval art, particularly studies on medieval architecture and gender, medieval images, Cistercian and Franciscan architecture.
