João Paulo Jacob is the next guest for the Visual Arts Cycle

On 20th May at 4:30 pm, João Paulo Jacob, a visual artist, will be the guest in the next edition of the Visual Arts Cycle. The session will take place in Amphitheatre 1.03 of the Pedagogical Complex at the Penha Campus, University of Algarve. Admission is free.

João Paulo Jacob is a visual artist and researcher, currently pursuing a PhD in Visual Arts at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). His artistic research poetically approaches archaeology, using family archives to create objects, photographs, and videos that aim to unveil, discuss, map, and invent layers of memory inscribed in the found artefacts.

Promoted by CIAC and FCT, the Visual Arts Cycle is organised by the Visual Arts Degree Programme of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at the University of Algarve.
