On September 19th and 20th, 2024, Málaga will host a significant event in the world of technology, the 1st International Congress on Communication, Culture, and Artificial Intelligence at the Digital Content Hub. This event will serve as a meeting point for experts, academics, and enthusiasts interested in the interaction between communication, culture, and artificial intelligence.

The congress, which will be held in a hybrid format, promises to be a comprehensive platform to discuss the advances, challenges, and implications of artificial intelligence in communicative and cultural processes. It will feature the participation of experts in the field, including Sara López-Gómez, a member of LabCOMandalucía, who is also part of the congress’s organizing committee. The event will be important for collaboration and dialogue across various fields, shaping the future of communication and culture in an increasingly AI-driven world.

The International Congress on Communication, Culture, and Artificial Intelligence is organized by the University of Málaga, in collaboration with CIAC – Research Center for Arts and Communication, the Ayuntamiento de Málaga, the National Hub for Digital Content, the ECREA – European Communication Research and Education Association, the Chair of 5G Next Generation Networks and Information Technologies, the Strategic Chair of Video Games, Gamification, and Serious Games, Quirón Salud Hospital, and RTVE’s Audiovisual Innovation Laboratory.
