Nancely Huminhick Discusses “Creative Photography: From Analog to Digital” at the Next Communication Sciences Seminar
On October 14 at 2:30 p.m., ESEC and CIAC will host Professor Nancely Huminhick, PhD, from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in São Paulo, for an open lecture on photography. The session will take place in Amphitheater 0.6 of the Pedagogical Complex at the Penha campus.
Nancely Huminhick holds a PhD in Education and a degree in Art Education with a specialization in Fine Arts from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1994). She is a professor in the Journalism and Advertising and Public Relations programs at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, as well as in the Digital Communication program at Universidade Paulista (UNIP), where she teaches courses in Photography. She is also part of the Visual Arts Internship Coordination at UNIP.

This seminar, co-organized by CIAC professors and researchers Ana Filipa Martins, Jorge Carrega, and Rui António, within the scope of the Digital Photography course of the 3rd year of the Communication Sciences degree program, is open to the public.
The Communication Sciences Seminar Series is an initiative that has been developed in recent years in collaboration with professionals and the community. It is supported by national funds through the FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P., under the project “UID/04019/2025 – CIAC.” The sessions are organized by researchers from CIAC’s Research Group on Communication Sciences, who also teach in the undergraduate program in Communication Sciences and the master’s program in Digital Media Communication at ESEC-UAlg.
