The Faro Museum is opening the exhibition The rise of Italian cinema in the Faro Museum’s poster collection on November 9th at 5 pm, which brings together several rare cinema posters dating from 1909 to 1915, illustrated by artists such as Leopoldo Metlicovic and A. Vassalo.
The exhibition, curated by CIAC researcher Jorge Carrega, will be open until December 29th. Conceived as part of the CURATE project, developed by CIAC in partnership with the Faro Museum, this exhibition is complemented by a virtual exhibition, created by researchers Alexandre Martins, Rui D’Orey and Jorge Carrega.
