Samuel Rama is the next guest for the Visual Arts Cycle


The next Visual Arts Cycle, featuring Samuel Rama, will take place on 21 April at 11am in Room 1.04, ISE, on the University of the Algarve’s Penha Campus.

Samuel Rama graduated in Plastic Arts from the Caldas da Rainha School of Arts and Design in 2003. The artist’s expressive areas are sculpture, installation and drawing.

His vast CV includes numerous solo and group exhibitions: Inhabit the Penumbra (2005), Módulo – Centro Difusor de Arte, Porto; Oh Dear! (2004), ZDB – Galeria Zé dos Bois, Lisbon; 7 Artistas ao 10.º mês (2005), Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon; London Pilot 2, International Art Forum and Exhibition, Farmiloes Building, St. John Street, London; Pilot Archive, Venice Biennale 2007, Atelier Fondazione Bevilacqua La Massa, Monastery ss. Cosma e Damiano, Venice, Italy, Passages (2017), at Galeria Trem, Faro. Samuel Rama is currently Coordinating Professor of Visual Arts at the Caldas da Rainha School of Arts and Design.
