Sílvia Quinteiro participates in the Luso-Brazilian Seminar on Tourism and Literature
The Geosciences Institute of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) is organizing the I Luso-Brazilian Seminar on Tourism and Literature, which will take place from July 4-6 at the Tourist Assistance Center in Cordisburgo. The initiative aims to promote an exchange between the Brazilian and Portuguese scientific communities, exploring the interactions between tourism and literature, their impact on regional development, and the enhancement of cultural heritage.
The seminar is organized by professors from the UFMG Tourism Course and will feature the presence of Sílvia Quinteiro, a CIAC researcher responsible for implementing literary routes in Portugal and Spain.
The event aims to bring together undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as professionals from both the public and private sectors, to foster the development of scientific collaboration networks between Brazil and Portugal. The goal is to stimulate the exchange of experiences and knowledge on Literary Tourism and to encourage innovation, thereby contributing to the appreciation of literary tourism as a tool for socio-economic development and the preservation of cultural heritage.
