UMAIA has new CREATIVEinGREEN project coordinated by a CIAC researcher

Tiago Cruz, researcher at CIAC, coordinates the CREATIVEinGREEN project, which aims to support the ecological and digital transition of the European AudioVisual and Multimedia (AVM) sector, stimulating innovation in the sector through cooperation and knowledge sharing between the education and training system and the socio-economic context.

According to Tiago, this project will help to develop the digital and ecological competences required by the AVM sector and to fill the existing gaps in terms of the key competences needed. In the process, the aim is to establish effective collaboration between higher education and the labour market, to be achieved through the development of a new “e-User Experience Designer” curriculum that will include real-world learning. The ultimate aim is to contribute to increasing employability, creativity and the creation of new career paths in the AVM sector within the scope of User-Experience Design.
