Vânia de Sousa gives Communication Sciences seminar on Strategic Communication
The next Communication Sciences Seminar, with the theme “Strategic brand communication: presence and relevance in digital”, will be given by Vânia de Sousa. The session will take place on October 31st, remotely, at 14h00.
Vânia de Sousa specialises in communication and marketing in health, tourism and the creative industries. She teaches at the Digital Academy of Turism of Portugal and specialises in communication at the Phormula Group — Creating Smart Healthcare Experiences. She has a Master’s degree in Communication and Management of Creative Industries from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto and is studying for a PhD in Communication at the University of Vigo.
The Digital Marketing seminar will be held remotely as part of the Digital Marketing curricular unit taught by Professor Cármen Monereo to 3rd year Communication Sciences undergraduates and 2nd year CTeSP Design and Multimedia Technologies students. It will be open to the public via Zoom, using the link provided.
The Communication Sciences Seminar Cycle is an initiative that has been developed in recent years in conjunction with professionals and the community. The sessions are organised by researchers from CIAC’s research group on Communication Sciences, who teach on the undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and the master’s degree in Communication and Digital Media at ESEC-UAlg.
