[Art, Technology and Contemporary Poetics]
The debate on contemporary art, technology and poetics has made significant inroads in the academic circles of Brazil and Portugal through the advent of new formations, especially within postgraduate studies, and primarily in the first decade of the current century. The subject area attracts attention from various segments of society, especially those linked to the cultural milieu.
With a view to the need to participate in this discussion, the Centre for Research in Arts and Communication of the University of the Algarve – CIAC and the ‘Research in Art, Education and History’ Research Group – IARTEH, within the Postgraduate in Education Programme of the State University of Ceará, organised this volume bringing together different researchers from Brazil and Portugal, with studies in the field of Arts, Communication and Education. In it, the aim was to provide different viewpoints on current production in these areas of research.
