[New and Old Trends in Contemporary Portuguese Cinema]
This book, which is the result of a research project supported by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and developed at Lisbon Theatre and Film School (ESTC), within the scope of the Centre for Research in Arts and Communication (CIAC), with the collaboration of researchers from the University of the Algarve, outlines, in its introductory texts, in the interviews anthologised in it and in its conclusions, answers to these and other questions. At the same time it is an inquiry into the organisational culture of the Portuguese cinematographic milieu and an intergenerational portrait of the creative agents contributing to the definition of the standout profiles of Portuguese cinematography in the initial years of the 21st century.
