{"id":1757,"date":"2023-09-26T11:13:18","date_gmt":"2023-09-26T10:13:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.ciac.pt\/?page_id=1757"},"modified":"2025-05-12T08:20:58","modified_gmt":"2025-05-12T07:20:58","slug":"creation-processes-collection","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ciac.pt\/en\/publications\/creation-processes-collection\/","title":{"rendered":"Creation Processes Collection"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are pleased to present the <a href=\"https:\/\/processosdecriacao.ciac.pt\/\"><em>Creation Processes<\/em> collection<\/a>, a result of the collaboration between the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ciac.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CIAC \u2013 Research Center for Arts and Communication<\/a>, of the University of Algarve, and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/xn--processosdecriao-snb5e.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Research Group on Creation Processes<\/a>, from the Post-Graduate Program in Communication and Semiotics at PUC-SP \u2013 Pontif\u00edcia Universidade Cat\u00f3lica de S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We highlight the importance of the theme that brings these books together \u2013 the creation processes \u2013 a topic that is increasingly present in contemporary artistic discussions. At the same time, we emphasize the originality of the publications, in a field where a bibliography in Portuguese is sparse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The books in the collection are the result of the interaction between these purposes, offering a very thought-provoking panorama of Contemporary Art. These are artistic projects that emphatically explore the expansion of creation archives, with regard to the spaces they come to occupy and the consequent dilution of boundaries between process and work, which call for the theoretical look of process criticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignwide has-alpha-channel-opacity separador\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-query
