The event took place in the New Building of the Assembly of the Republic \u2014 Ant\u00f3nio de Almeida Santos Auditorium, on December 17th at 14:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She took part in the 2nd panel: &#8220;Innovative Experiences for Empowering Disabled Citizens&#8221;, which was moderated by MEP Fernando Jos\u00e9, coordinator of the &#8220;Inclusion and Rights of People with Disabilities&#8221; working group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maria P. Barbas said: &#8220;We had the opportunity to address key issues related to inclusion, highlighting the digital literacy course for the labour market, a pioneering initiative in Portugal. We also shared experiences and results achieved through inclusive European projects&#8221; and that &#8220;It was an incredible moment to share the work carried out and reinforce the need to guarantee the rights and full participation of people with difficulties.
