class=\"wp-block-post-date\"><time datetime=\"2025-10-29T02:07:14+00:00\">29\/10\/2025<\/time><\/div>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>On October 16, 2025, the ceremony for the 1st edition of the <strong>Jos\u00e9 Louro Award \u2013 New Dramaturgies<\/strong> took place at Teatro das Figuras, in Faro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The jury, chaired by <strong>Ana Clara Santos<\/strong>, CIAC researcher, awarded <strong>1st Prize<\/strong> to the play <em>Petr\u00f3leo<\/em>, written by <strong>In\u00eas Filipe<\/strong>, and granted an <strong>Honourable Mention<\/strong> to the play <em>Um Editor \u00e0 procura de Autor<\/em>, by <strong>Afonso Lages<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was supported by <strong>CIAC<\/strong>, in partnership with the <strong>Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Algarve<\/strong>, <strong>ACTA \u2013 The Algarve Theatre Company<\/strong>, the <strong>Municipality of Faro<\/strong>, and the <strong>CET \u2013 Theatre Studies Centre of the University of Lisbon<\/strong>, with sponsorship from <strong>Grupo Rolear<\/strong> and <strong>Metalofarense<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
