He taught in the Film Department of the Lisbon Theatre and Film School from 1987 to 2018, serving as the institution\u2019s director between 2015 and 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to his academic career, he was a journalist and novelist. In 1994, he was awarded the <strong>LER\/C\u00edrculo de Leitores Prize<\/strong> for his novel <em>A Mulher do Terrorista<\/em> (<em>The Terrorist\u2019s Wife<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To his family,
