The anthropophagic metaphor is here used as a critical and creative lens to examine dialogues, influences, similarities, and differences within Lusophone culture through literature and audiovisual media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Between March and November 2022, six online events were held, bringing together artists, researchers, and thinkers from the three territories involved. Highlights include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The inaugural conference, <strong>\u201cAnthropophagy Beyond Brazilianness,\u201d<\/strong> by Angolan writer <strong>Jo\u00e3o Melo<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A conversation between Brazilian writer <strong>Luiz Ruffato<\/strong> and Portuguese filmmaker <strong>Jos\u00e9 Barahona<\/strong> on the film adaptation of the novel <em>Estive em Lisboa e Lembrei de Voc\u00ea<\/em>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The debate on <strong>\u201cModernity in Ernesto de Sousa\u201d<\/strong> with <strong>Ana Soares<\/strong> and <strong>Isabel Nogueira<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A panel with filmmaker <strong>Elza Cataldo<\/strong> and documentarian <strong>Miguel Pinheiro<\/strong> on the film <em>As \u00d3rf\u00e3s da Rainha<\/em>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A discussion on autofiction with <strong>Miriam Tavares<\/strong> and <strong>Patr\u00edcia Dourado<\/strong> from CIAC, in dialogue with filmmaker <strong>Leonardo Moura Matteus<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The presentation of the film <em>O Dil\u00favio Maxacali<\/em> by <strong>Charles Bicalho<\/strong> and <strong>Cl\u00e1udio Santos Rodrigues<\/strong>, in partnership with Indigenous filmmaker <strong>Isael Maxacali<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All the sessions are available on the <strong>CIAC YouTube channel<\/strong> and on the official project website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final publication, now available in digital format, brings together texts by writers, academics, and filmmakers, offering a rich, multidisciplinary, and critical reading of Lusophone culture. Representing CIAC, the volume includes contributions from researchers <strong>Mirian Tavares<\/strong>, <strong>Ana Isabel Soares<\/strong>, <strong>Sara Vitorino Fernandez<\/strong>, <strong>Bruno de Carvalho Belmonte<\/strong>, and <strong>Jorge Carrega<\/strong>, the latter responsible for editing the book in collaboration with <strong>Pedro Varoni<\/strong>, <strong>Vanice Sargentini<\/strong>,
