This issue was academically curated by Mirian Tavares, who served as guest editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The issue brings together innovative research on the impact of digital technologies and artificial intelligence on contemporary museums, addressing both the opportunities for expanding access and cultural preservation, as well as the ethical and political challenges emerging from these transformations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the highlights is the article <em>\u201cMuseums in Dispute: Artificial Intelligence, Digital Culture, and Critical Curation\u201d<\/em> by <strong>Priscila Arantes<\/strong>. The article critically examines the role of artificial intelligence in museum curation, highlighting the risks of reproducing historical inequalities and proposing the concept of meta-algorithmic curation to address these issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The publication underscores the importance of critical reflection on the use of digital technologies in the museological field, emphasizing the museum
