Among the submitted proposals are innovative topics such as the development of antimicrobial peptides using artificial intelligence (AIDA), the creation of digital infrastructures for trustworthy systems (DIGITS), the use of virtual reality to reduce preoperative anxiety (TIP), and the sensory exploration of urban environments and living cultures in the Algarve (VIBRANCY).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other projects focus on the enhancement of artistic and cultural heritage (ARTECA+, Curate 2.0), authenticity in cultural tourism experiences (AuthenTour), the impact of artificial intelligence on learning and professional development (FOSTER-AI-MECH, SHAPE-AI), as well as issues of citizenship, gender, and digital consumption (GenArt, Swatching). The project S-WINE-DATA also stands out, focusing on innovation in wine tourism governance through data analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These applications highlight CIAC\u2019s commitment to promoting interdisciplinary and high-quality research, aligned with contemporary societal challenges and with strong potential for scientific, cultural, and social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation in these calls reinforces CIAC\u2019s position as a dynamic and competitive research unit at the national level, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of arts, communication, and emerging
