This event takes place in the scope of the in-person meetings of Work Package 6 (WP6) \u2013 Dissemination and Impact of the European University of the Seas Alliance (SEA-EU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This session is part of the international meetings that will bring together, at UAlg over two days, communication specialists from the nine SEA-EU partner universities, with the aim of sharing best practices, projects, and strategies in institutional communication and science communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme will begin with a welcome session featuring the Vice-Rector for Sustainability Sciences, V\u00e2nia Sousa, and the host of the meeting, Manuel C\u00e9lio Concei\u00e7\u00e3o, a faculty member of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and researcher at CIAC \u2013 Research Centre in Arts and Communication. This will be followed by an update on the work carried out in the scope of WP6, presented by Irene de Andr\u00e9s M\u00e1rquez, SEA-EU Communications Officer, and Manuel C\u00e9lio Concei\u00e7\u00e3o, coordinator of Science Communication within the Alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the key moments of the morning will be the talk \u201cScience Is for Everyone \u2014 But Only If We Make It So!\u201d, delivered by Cristina Veiga-Pires, a faculty member of the School of Science and Technology at UAlg and Executive Director of the Algarve Ci\u00eancia Viva Centre, inviting reflection on the role of science in society and the importance of making knowledge accessible to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session will also include presentations of several science communication projects developed within the Alliance, namely: \u201cSEA-EU Falling Walls\u201d, by Umair Najeeb Mughal from Nord University, Norway; \u201cSYREN Project\u201d, by Ana Matias from the University of Algarve; and \u201cScience Comes to Town\u201d, by Tonka Petri\u010devi\u0107 from the University of Split, Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The morning will conclude with a Q&amp;A session, fostering dialogue between participants and the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation is open to the entire academic community, offering a unique opportunity to engage with international initiatives and reflect on current challenges in science communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This session follows the in-person meetings of WP6 tasks (Tasks 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3) of the SEA-EU Alliance, whose programme continues on April 14 and 15 with internal working sessions among delegations from partner universities, including review and planning meetings. It also includes social and cultural activities organised by the University of Algarve, notably a visit to Culatra Island (Culatra 2030 project).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
