The project TE-Con3<\/a> aims to develop an innovative methodology for teaching English in Higher Education based on a sequence of modules adapted to the complexity of the language and the grammaticality of different academic areas (Architecture, Art and Media, Automotive Engineering, Biomedical Sciences and Communication in Health, Geography).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This international strategic partnership is funded by Erasmus+, coordinated by the University of Warsaw (Poland) and whose partners include the Warsaw Polytechnic (Poland), the University of Tallinn (Estonia), the University of Pitesti (Romania), the Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany) and the University of Algarve (Portugal). The project\u2019s national team is composed of CIAC researchers Manuel C\u00e9lio Concei\u00e7\u00e3o (local coordinator), Neuza Costa, Pedro Sousa, and F\u00e1tima Noronha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The quality of language teaching models for university students is an essential condition for the implementation of the social ideals promoted by the European Union and is indispensable in the so-called global village. Student mobility, competitive labor markets, the development of the pan-European economy, and geopolitical cohesion require the right control of shared communication tools. By offering a wide range of academic subjects centered on language and culture, TECON3 promotes education for active citizenship, stimulates linguistic and academic development, and enhances social skills.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
