CIAC integrates two projects supported by the “Healthy Neighborhoods” program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nutrimovere<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Project submitted by Biosite.com, CRL, with the support of CIAC, with the aim of developing better living conditions through the reuse of mobile, multifunctional equipment, with the participation of the population in converting it into a community kitchen \/ street market \/ vegetable collection center and returning waste to the gardens, with an increase in the quality and quantity of production in the urban garden (plot, balcony); Creative Center of activities \/ knowledge, familiar to the population (self-construction, agriculture, cooking, art, among others).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The methodology aligns the biointensive method with the translation of this knowledge into activities promoted by CAP (Community Artistic Practices), reinforcing the “making of place” through the exchange of experience, adopting sustainable materials and techniques. These aspects, preventive health synergies through ecocreative processes, also encompassing info-inclusive ecodigital art, are enriched by creative production and transformation, nutrition\/exercise, marketing and employment, with added value in terms of income through collaboration, which will bring quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Neighbor’s Chicken<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Neighbor’s Chicken, a project submitted by Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Teatro Umano, in collaboration with CIAC, is structured around 4 lines of action: public space as a protagonist for health and well-being in times of pandemic; revitalizing local cultural and associative spaces as hubs for “caring for the community” actions; developing collaborative communication processes that are a source of information, awareness and learning for local populations on self-protection and prevention in the face of health risks and depression, boosting and strengthening the Artisans’ Association and the Community Theatre hub, which are privileged local health agents and are closing down due to lack of support. By co-designing and co-creating solutions, the aim is to involve the local community and make them co-responsible and agents of change. Based on the impact of the work carried out in the 4 areas of action, the community will lead improvement processes for the problems it has diagnosed. Change will be made by people, not for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Healthy Neighborhoods Program is a public, participatory program created to improve health, well-being and quality of life in vulnerable areas located in mainland Portugal. It is a program of small interventions that supports projects presented by local partnerships, made up of associations, collectives, non-governmental organizations, IPSS, foundations, informal groups or individual volunteers, which can be joined by local authorities, local health authorities or services, local migrant integration support centers, public or cooperative educational institutions or other public entities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
