CIAC Workshop: Artistic Practices for Socio-Spatial Transformation<\/h1>\n\n

On January 16 and 23, the Workshop on Artistic Practices for Socio-Spatial Transformation<\/em><\/strong> took place at the University of Algarve Library (Gambelas). The event was part of Roc\u00edo Vela<\/a>‘s research stay at CIAC\/UAlg, focusing on the development of an outline for an innovative teaching project. The workshop welcomed members of the Intersectional and Urban Studies Group of Local Action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants in the event included researchers S\u00edlvia Leiria Viegas (CIAC\/UAlg, organizer), Roc\u00edo Vela (Universidad Loyola), Ana Miguel Regedor (CES\/UC), Francesca Vita (ISCTE), and Isabel Carvalho (CIAC\/UAb, online).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first session featured a brainstorming session around key ideas that structure thought and action, followed by organizing these ideas into four main dimensions and a guiding concept. The second session addressed the theme of emotion as a catalyst for artistic practice in social transformation and the development of guiding principles for the outline of the innovative teaching project.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
