She has carried out research and participated in various national and international projects in the area of self-regulation of learning and inclusive education. Professor with a specialist title from the Polytechnic Institute of Santar\u00e9m, in the area of Teacher Training and Education Sciences: Special and Inclusive Education: Special Educational Needs. She has a Master&#8217;s degree in Health Psychology from the Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada and a degree in Clinical Psychology from the same institution. She has been a lecturer at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Santar\u00e9m (ESE-IPSantar\u00e9m) since 2001 and is currently president of the Scientific Council. As well as teaching supervision, she works in the field of special education and early intervention.
