Selected PhD holders are directly employed by the identified host institution, with funding provided by the FCT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following reference categories are considered within the two levels open for competition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a) <strong>Junior Researcher<\/strong> \u2013 PhD holders with five years or less of experience since obtaining their degree, counted at the application submission deadline, and with limited postdoctoral research experience in the scientific field they are applying for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>b) <strong>Assistant Researcher<\/strong> \u2013 PhD holders at the application submission deadline with a relevant track record in the scientific field they are applying for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition will take place between September 30 (3:00 PM) and November 29, 2024 (5:00 PM). Applications must be submitted via the FCT website, where further information about the competition is also available.
