On stage, baritone Rui Baeta embodies \u2018the last man\u2019, accompanied by electronic manipulations by Hugo Paquete and guest musicians such as Pedro Carvalho and Ianina Khmelik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work explores themes such as radical ecology, astronomy, mysticism and the human condition in the face of the apocalyptic, offering a disruptive fusion of theatre, music, and technology. The performers, Bruno Sousa and Amanda Duda, are noise generators, evoking memories of a lost humanity, while the narrative takes us on a cathartic ritual, where myth and ritual operate as a response to the collapse of civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This show is funded by the Directorate-General for the Arts (DGArtes) and the Portuguese Republic \/ Culture, and has the support of various organisations, including CIAC \u2014  Research Center for Arts and Communication.
