CALL for artists

It is open, until 15 FEBRUARY 2018, the call for artists for artistic creation in distance residence, under the project INVITRO-Generator, with the support of the Ministry of Culture/DGArtes.

The initiative is called REALTIME RUNTIME PEOPLE. It is an artistic project that draws a parallel between two characteristic expressions of computing – REALTIME and RUNTIME – and the way in which modern life, mediated by technology, is currently taking place in REAL TIME, increasingly limited and disputed, and RUNing between constant attention to our devices.

REALTIME RUNTIME PEOPLE aims to award 4 grants so that 4 artists can realize an artistic project developing digital media-art projects. Each artist will have a monograph dedicated to the work developed, will have an individual exhibition with this  work and will participate in a final collective exhibition, as well as in the closing conference of the project.

This project is the result of a partnership between ARTECH-International, the Open University, the Research Center for Arts and Communication (CIAC), the International Society for Education through Art (INSEA) and the Association of Teachers of Expression and Visual Communication APECV).
