CIAC’s coordinator is part of the scientific commission of the IV International Congress on Cultures

The  IV Congresso Internacional sobre Culturas – Memória e Sensibilidade: Cenários da experiência cultural contemporânea (IV International Congress on Cultures – Memory and Sensitivity: Scenarios of contemporary cultural experience) seeks to broaden the scientific debate, which began in 2015 at the University of Beira Interior (UBI/Portugal), and was reinforced in 2016 and 2017 at the University Federal University of Bahia (UFBA/Brazil) and University of Minho (UMinho/Portugal), respectively. The crossing of glances, the confrontation of ideas, the construction of arguments and reflections on the past and the present of the Portuguese, and the role of the media in this process, are therefore at the heart of the dialogue proposed by the International Congress on Cultures – Memory and Sensitivity: Scenarios of the contemporary cultural experience.

In this edition of 2018, whose call for papers is underway, Miriam Tavares is part of the congressional scientific committee.
