Colloquium Narrative, Media and Cognition
University of Algarve hosts the fifth edition of the Colloquium Narrative, Media and Cognition
On 09th and 10th November, the University of Algarve proposes the study, understanding and the dissemination of the narrative practices in another edition of the Colloquium Narrative, Media and Cognition. This 5th edition of the international meeting, organized by CIAC – Center for Research in Arts and Communication, in co-organization with the Working Group “Audiovisual Narratives” of AIM – Association of the Researchers of the Image in Motion – and SPVJ – Portuguese Society of Video Games Sciences, will be dedicated to the marginalized narratives, which are located in a field of work that ciac has been exploring and whose critical debate has to foster: marginalized cultures.
The program of the event includes an inaugural Conference by the Professor Arnaldo Saraiva, scientific and literary researcher, essayist, chronicler and poet, and with 9 panels dedicated to the themes of the call for papers: Marginalized Narratives, Fake News, Literary Narratives and Media Narratives.
The V Colloquium Narrative, Media and Cognition will take place in the Pedagogical Complex of Penha Campus. The opening session will take place at Amphitheater 1.4., at 10:00 am.
The admission is free and the attendance gives a certificate of participation, but prior registration is needed.
