LIT&TOUR RESEARCH GROUP ORGANIZES CONFERENCE ON LITERATURE, TOURISM AND WATERSCAPES

From 11-13 April 2022, the LIT&TOUR research group, hosted by CIAC, is organising the Online Conference Literature, Tourism and Waterscapes. This is an event that aims to explore the ways in which waterscapes are represented in literature and how they can be used as a tourism resource.

Divided into 6 sessions, the Online Conference Literature, Tourism and Waterscapes will address topics such as the binomial between literary and real landscapes; the importance of literature in surf tourism; cultural tourism and literary education; waterscapes, tourism and political uncertainties; tourism and the concept of citizenship; storytelling in literary tourism; the potential of ecotourism; educational itineraries; among others.

From the programme, we highlight the interventions of keynote speakers Francesco Visenti, Graham Busby, Charlie Mansfield, Harald Hendrix; and the participation of CIAC researchers Pedro Sousa, Maria José Pires, Viviana Carreira and Didiana Fernandes, as moderators and speakers.

Registration is free, but compulsory (here).
