1st Digital Media Arts PhD Retreat

The PhD retreat for the Digital Media Arts PhD course, an event jointly-organised by the Universidade Aberta and the University of the Algarve, takes place July 13-19 in the town of Óbidos. This is the first edition of the PhD retreat, the aim of which is to establish a space for sharing, discussion, assessment, and experiencing intervention with the public, compulsory for students, teachers, while also welcoming guest speakers. The theme of the 2013 PhD retreat is “Intervention in Cultural Diversity” and enjoys the honourable patronage of the Municipality of Óbidos and the ‘Óbidos Criativa’ association. The PhD in Digital Media Arts is a course associated with CIAC.
