INVITRO PROGRAM PROMOTES A SEMINAR ABOUT PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES ENHANCED BY DIGITAL MEDIA
On 4th July 2022, at 2:00pm, the curatorial programme INVITRO promotes the online seminar “Pedagogical Practices enhanced by digital media: from the aesthetics of the body and performance to the digital and virtual space”. Coordinated and moderated by Adérito Fernandes-Marcos (member of CIAC’s Executive Board) and curated by Selma Pereira (Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco), the session includes the interventions of Pilar Pérez Camarero (Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain), Ludmila Pimentel (Federal University of Bahia, Brazil) and Isa Seppi (CIAC).
This seminar aims to challenge teachers and researchers at the intersection of art, technology and media to share their pedagogical strategies and processes of fostering social, artistic and cultural inclusion; and to analyse scenarios of political and social, cultural and pedagogical activism and intervention in its multiple and polysemic dimensions.
“Encontrarnos detrás de pantallas digitales coloridas y humanizadas” (Pilar Pérez Camarero), “Do corpo enclausurado ao corpo poético digital da dança na pandemia” (Ludmila Pimentel) and “Artes Performativas no Metaverso” (Isa Seppi) are the motto for the debate. “Pedagogical practices enhanced by digital media: from the aesthetics of the body and performance to the digital and virtual space” addresses inclusive pedagogical practices and strategies in education through digital media that specifically explore the aesthetics of the body and performance.
The curatorial programme INVITRO is developed within the framework of the Centre for Research, Development and Transdisciplinary Experimentation of Technological Artefacts of the Open University/Artech-International/CIAC. Its mission is related to the development and promotion of technological artefacts based on cross-multi and transdisciplinary intersection, collaboration between sectors, innovation and creative thinking.
The seminar cycle is free of charge and provides a certificate of participation.
Places are limited and registration is mandatory (here).
