“É perigoso ohar para dentro” (It is dangerous to look inside) in exhibition in Galeria TREM in December
Galeria TREM, in Faro, presents the exhibition “É perigoso olhar para dentro” (It is dangerous to look inside) by Bertílio Martins and Nuno Viegas, with Pedro Cabral Santo, Mirian Tavares and Xana as curators. The exhibit will open on the 13th of December. The works presented in this exhibition intend, through various supports, explore the limit between what is revealed and what is hidden, with a special focus on art, where “the frame of the paintings or the screen work like the cutting edge zone, the precise spot where the artist allows his work to be entered”. It is exactly what is left outside that the two artists want to talk about, images that are not exhibited or spaces that are forbidden. The exhibition will take place until the 2nd of February 2013.
