Doctoral students Edgar Pêra and Cláudia Albuquerque defend doctoral exams in Communication, Culture and Arts
The filmmaker Edgar Pêra, a CIAC collaborator, will defend doctoral exams in Communication, Culture and Arts on April 20th, at 10:00 am, at the Teresa Gamito Amphitheater, at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences from University of Algarve. The presentation of his doctoral research, entitled “O espectador espantado”, will be appreciated by the jury, composed of Alexandra Reis (UALG), President of the Jury, Daniel Ribas (UCatólica do Porto), Tiago Baptista (IHC-NOVA FCHS) and Mirian Tavares (CIAC-UAlg). The research work was supervised by Ana Soares (CIAC-UALG).
Cláudia Albuquerque de Lima will also defend her doctoral research tomorrow, at 2:30 p.m., “A Mente, o Olho e a Voz da Luz. O pensamento fotográfico e o fotógrafo-narrador: experiências autorais e estéticas no universo do olhar sobre Salvador, na Bahia”under the PhD in Communication, Culture and Arts. The Jury will be composed by Alexandra Reis (UALG) José Maçãs de Carvalho (Faculty of Sciences and Technology, UCoimbra), Adriana Martins (UCatólica from LIsbon) and Mirian Tavares (CIAC-UAlg).
The PhD exams are open to the community.
