CIAC researchers at the 2017 Science Meeting
The aim of the 2017 Science Meeting, organised by the Foundation for Science and Technology in collaboration with Living Science – National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture and the Parliamentary Commission for Education and Science, is to promote a broad debate on the main themes and challenges guiding the activity of the Portuguese scientific community, bringing together researchers and guests from different spheres of society.
Three iconic CIAC projects will be presented at this year’s edition: Pan-Hispanic ‘Romanceiro’ Literature: between Literary Archaeology and Digital Humanities, by Pedro Ferré and Sandra Boto, as part of the thematic session dedicated to Culture and Cultural Heritage – Technologies and Cultural Heritage; the Telemedia Project – Multimodal Telepresence in Inclusive Online Distance Education and Training, by Elizabeth Simão Carvalho, in the area of Social Inclusion and Citizenship and, finally, the 4CDE: Code, Content, Creation and Culture for Digital Education project, by Mirian Tavares and Bruno Mendes da Silva in the area of digital skills.
The 2017 Science Meeting takes place between July 03 and 05, at the Lisbon Congress Centre.
