CIAC PARTICIPATES IN THE 2ND MEETING THE CREATIVE PROCESS – FILMMAKERS AND RESEARCHERS: AGAINST PLANS

CIAC researcher António Costa Valente will be present at the 2nd Meeting The Creative Process – Filmmakers and Researchers, promoted by Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Spain) and Universidade da Beira Interior (Portugal), which will take place on the 7th October, in Madrid. Under the subtitle “Contra Planos”, the event gathers researchers and filmmakers to debate the fundamentals of cinematographic creation.

After a first meeting in February 2020, in Covilhã, dedicated to the filmmaker’s craft, the 2nd Meeting The Creative Process – Filmmakers and Researchers: Against Planes intends to reflect on the planes and counter-plans of the cinematographic work, the filmmaker’s resources and procedures, in a conscious exercise about his skills.

António Costa Valente moderates the conference “El ofício de cineasta” [The craft of filmmaking], which counts with the interventions of Professors from the University of Beira Interior Manuela Penafria, Paulo Cunha, and Tiago Fernandes.
