CIAC is present at the Encontro Ciência 2018
The Encontro Ciência 2018 will take place from July 2-4 at the Lisbon Congress Center. This year’s edition was organized around “missions” associated with major scientific and societal challenges, building on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
Researchers José Bidarra, Elizabeth Carvalho and Vítor Tomé bring to this event some of the most emblematic projects that are under development at the Center for Research in Arts and Communication.
In the scope of session 4. Quality Education, Professor José Bidarra will present the project Tutor Virtual, under development at the CIAC in the Open University. The session will take place on July 2 at 11:30 p.m.
In the National Initiative on Digital skills session, we will present the PhD project of the researcher Vítor Tomé, entitled Digital Citizenship and Democratic Participation: a community project focused on children from 3 to 9 years, included in the INCoDe panel. 2030: Inclusion. The session will take place on July 2 at 11:30 p.m.
Finally, Elizabeth Simão Carvalho will present the CHIC Project, of which the CIAC-UAb is a partner, in the panel dedicated to Sustainable Cities and Communities. The session will take place on July 4 at 3:30 p.m.
During the event, there will also be displayed two posters corresponding to doctoral projects hosted by CIAC. Jusciele Oliveira will present the theme “Precisamos vestirmo-nos com a luz negra”: trajetória, estilo e autoria nos cinemas africanos: o caso do bissau-guineense Flora Gomes and Letícia Torres will have on display the poster A construção colaborativa da comunicação das marcas nas redes sociais: engajamento, interação e literacia dos media.. Both PhD researchers have been supervised by the Professor and Coordinator of CIAC, Mirian Tavares.
