CIAC organises “Democracy and University” conference

This coming October 04, CIAC is organising the conference “Democracy and University”, in partnership with the School of Education and Communication. The event, which will take place in amphitheatre 1.5 of the Pedagogical Complex on Penha Campus, at the University of the Algarve, takes, as its theme, the text written by José Saramago for the Complutense University of Madrid, entitled “Democracia y Universidad”, also marking in this way the date of the establishment of the Portuguese Republic, on October 05, 1910.

Paquete de Oliveira, António Fidalgo and Raquel Varela will be some of the guest speakers.
