GALERIA TREM EXHIBITION
GALERIA TREM HOSTS THE COLECCTIVE EXHIBITION “THE IMAGE THAT EMERGES”
On the 16th February, at 6:00pm, the exhibition A Imagem que Emerge [The image that emerges] opens at Galeria Trem, in Faro. Until 9th April 2022, the collective exhibition features works by Beatriz Ferreira, Cátia Jesus, Guilherme Pinto, Jumoon Berthoux and Mariana Mártires, five artists from UAlg’s Visual Arts degree.
A Imagem que Emerge [The image that emerges] presents a very particular figuration. The figure emerges not as a mimetic exercise, but as a way to return to the world, after absorbed and worked on, images that invite us to think. From drawing to painting, embroidery, sculpture and collage, several are the tools and techniques used.
This exhibition, with free entrance, is part of the program of the Visual Arts course of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Algarve for the Galeria Trem, with the support of CIAC, FCT and the Faro City Council/Municipal Museum of Faro
