Galeria Trem hosts the exhibition “Eu metia as mãos na água” (I shook hands in the water) by the artist João Jacinto.
From 27th June, the Galeria Trem is a window to the painting of João Jacinto, a contemporary plastic artist, who seeks to create a sense of life. “Eu metia as mãos na água” is what is the name of his exhibition, shown in Faro until the 9th September.
This is another exhibition within the framework of the Visual Arts Degree of the University of Algarve for the Galeria Trem, with the support of CIAC, FCT and the City Hall/Municipal Museum of Faro.
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Friday from 11:30 to 18:00 and on Saturdays from 10:30 to 17:00.
João Jacinto (Mafra, 1966)
In 1985 he began his artistic studies in E.S.B.A.L. He taught between 1989 and 1992 at Ar.co in Lisbon. Since 2001, he has been a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. He has exhibited individually since 1987. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
