CIAC PRESENT AT THE 2ND INTERNATIONAL SEMINARY RESEARCH IN ANIMATION: CINEMA & TECHNOLOGICAL POETICS
On the 29 of November , at 1:15 pm (Portuguese time), CIAC researcher Marina Estela Graça participates in the 2nd International Seminar Research in Animation: Cinema & Technological Poetics, organized by the Department of Animation Cinema and Digital Arts of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil).
The 2nd International Seminar Research in Animation: Cinema & Technological Poetics gathers research works that address the use of animation in cinema and digital arts, highlighting the expressive potential and applicability of animation in several artistic modalities. Integrated in the panel “Connections with Portugal”, the researcher Marina Estela Graça presents the opening conference entitled “Portuguese Animation: Perspectives in the analysis of the activity”.
The event aims at sharing and discussing research in animation carried out in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, France and Portugal, identifying approximations and distances in the construction of dialogues; and the debate on different applications of the language and technique of animation in the field of arts, as well as its interlocution with memory and new poetics.
