Javier Hernandez Ruiz gives lecture at CIAC invitation
Javier Hernandez Ruiz, doctorate in History of Art and professor at the Universidade Europeia de Madrid (European University of Madrid) will be giving a lecture entitled “Plot 28: el primer universo trasnmedia de Ficción Total” (Plot 28: the first trans-media universe of Total Fiction), on the next 20th of April, by 7 pm, in the amphitheatre 0.4 of Campus da Penha. The academic pathway of the gest speaker has developed around the area of the cinema and the audio-visual, teaching courses related with filmic studies, history of the arts and audio-visual media. In what concerns investigation, Javier Hernandez has been connected to several projects that relate cinema, art and architecture, having published several books like the one “Escenarios de la fantasia: el legado de la arquitectura y las artes plásticas en el cine” (1990) (Sceneries of Phantasy: the legacy of architecture and the plastic arts in the cinema). Recently, he integrated the evaluation committee for audio-visual projects of “Institut Valencià de Cinematografia Ricardo Muñoz Suay” (Ricardo Muñoz Suay Valencian Institute of Cinematography).
