Mariana Madeira is the next guest of the Cycle of Visual Arts
The plastic artist Mariana Madeira will be the next guest speaker of the Cycle of Visual Arts 2014, which is to be held in the next 20th of March, by 05h30pm, in Campus da Penha, auditorium 0.4, in Faro.
Mariana Madeira was born in Portugal in 1986. In 2005, she started his graduation in Visual Arts in Universidade do Algarve. She attended the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, in Munich, having had already the opportunity to exhibit her work twice. After concluding her graduation and her post-graduation in Visual and Performatives Arts, she also took the Master degree in Comunication, Culture, and Arts at UAlg.
In this exhibit, Mariana Madeira starts a project that addresses the topics of the territory and its limits. This project continues a research developed at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, where she integrates a team of researchers-artists from the lab NANO. In August of 2013, she returned to Portugal to conclude her master degree research project, starting to establish new relations between multimedia technologies and artistic ideas.
