“O narrador contemporâneo no contexto das práticas colaborativas de roteiro em Era o Hotel Cambridge de Eliane Caffé” [The contemporary narrator in the context of collaborative scripting practices in Era o Hotel Cambridge by Eliane Caffé] by Patrícia Dourado (PUC-SP) and Mirian Tavares, coordinator of CIAC, is part of the publication “Audiovisual e Indústrias Criativas: Presente e Futuro – Volume 2” [Audiovisual and Creative Industries: Present and Future – Volume 2]. Coordinated by Javier Sierra Sánchez and José Gomes Pinto, this publication brings together the articles presented in the 8th edition of the International Congress of Audiovisual Researchers (CIIA 2021), which took place in June, at Universidade Lusófona, in Lisbon.
The article analyzes the creation process of the film Era o Hotel Cambridge (2016), by director Eliane Caffé, focusing on the script as a tool under constant construction. Relationships are established between the different data to perceive the network of thought in creation, to understand the option for collaborative practices that encourage group creation and to rethink the figure of the contemporary narrator.
