PRESENTATION ON GALICIAN POET BY CIAC COLLABORATOR AVAILABLE ONLINE
The photo presentation about the Galician poet Florencio Delgado Gurriarán, made by CIAC collaborator Juan Manuel Escribano Loza and promoted by the Center for Galician Studies at UAlg, as part of the Day of the Galician Letters, is now available online.
Florencio Delgado Gurriarán (1903-1987) is a Galician poet and jurist who lived through the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) and was exiled during the Franco dictatorship. In Mexico, where he lived until his death, he kept intact a very firm commitment to Galicia, always present in his work.
This year, the Real Academia Galega recovered his memory and honored Florencio Delgado Gurriarán with the Day of the Galician Letters.
